The second edition of the Jepara features an elevated and reinforced heel that is both bouncy soft and very stable. That results in a stable and ultra-cushioned ride for moderate to severe overpronators. On the shoe wall, this one falls between an agile stability shoe and a motion control monster. While the undercarriage is decidedly bulky compared to other shoes, the shoe's lightweight (and comfort-oriented) upper keeps it from being too heavy. The comfort features include a soft, memory-foam tongue and ankle collar and a relaxed-fit forefoot complemented by a stretchy fabric at the ball of the foot and pinky toes.
